Every calculation happens inside your browser. Your income details are stored only on this device and are never uploaded.
Transparent workings
Instead of a single number, you get the slab-wise tax, exemptions, capped deductions, rebate, surcharge and cess, so you can check the logic yourself.
Kept current
All slabs, limits, rebates and rates live in one configuration file per financial year, so the app can be updated quickly after each Union Budget.
What it does not cover
Presumptive business taxation, foreign income and DTAA relief, relief under Section 89, clubbing of income, carried-forward losses, and firm or company taxation are outside its scope.
